Alta Badia

Alta Badia, a pearl in the middle of the Dolomites to discover throughout the year

Alta Badia is ensconced in a wide, sunny valley, surrounded by meadows and woods and overlooked by the rocky giants of the Dolomites and bounded by Puez-Odle and Fanes-Senes-Braies natural parks. One of the most charming places the Dolomites is the Sella massif.

The Dolomites
On the 26th June 2009 the Dolomites were added to the World Heritage list due to the beauty of its landscape and scientific importance from a geological and geomorphological level.
Reinhold Messen said about the Dolomites: "They are not the highest mountains, but certainly the most beautiful mountains in the world."
The Dolomites offer mountains and majestic peaks with adventurous trails and climbing routes around the peaks; in addition they possess an intact nature with green meadows, enchanted forests, crystal clear lakes, natural parks and wide plateaus.
A natural show that is beyond compare is the Enrosadira: at sunset the Dolomites dress a fiery red and then move on to violet before disappearing into the night.

These mountains are the ideal holiday location for active people. Here nature is at its most beautiful and offers its guests an interesting holiday in any season of the year.
