The most beautiful mountains in the world
This is the first thought that comes to mind to whoever sees these colossal, rocky peaks. Compared to other mountains, they are brighter, more colourful, and more monumental, as if they had been designed by an architect. Formed over 200 million years ago by a primordial sea, today they tower towards the sky up to 3,000 metres. Their name originated with Dèodat de Dolomieu (1759-1801), the man who determined and defined their particular rock composition. Today they are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s difficult to imagine a more inspiring setting in which to enjoy winter sports.
